Funke Akindele could possibly spend up to 1 month behind bars for contravening Lockdown rules it has been confirmed.According to The Lagos Infection Disease Regulations (2020), the Regulation prescribes a one month sentence or N100,000 fine or both for anybody caught contravening Lockdown rules.
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested Nollywood star, Funke Akindele after she hosted a house party despite strict lockdown rules.The Nollywood star organized a birthday party to celebrate her husband,JJC skillz who turned 43.Nigerian top musician, Naira Marley was also in attendance but has not been arrested.According to the punch,she was arrested for contravening lockdown rules.
She later apologised over the incident, saying most of those who attended the party were colleagues, who were living temporarily within the estate and could not return to their home states because of the lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
