Yesterday ( 21st of April, 2020. ), four male suspects were caught in the morning at ladipo Shogunle axis and were taken by the Area F police.
Then in the afternoon around the same time when the one million boy's fight was ongoing in Oshodi, they caught another 2 suspects while they were trying to kidnap a woman who works for Lawma when she was busy sweeping the roads.
It was learnt that the victim raised the alarm and passersby and residents of the area rushed to the scene to rescue the woman .
The alleged kidnappers , upon sighting the people rushing towards them , were said to have abandoned the street sweeper and fled from the scene of the incident but was caught.
They had charms on them but people intervained . when they found the suspects acting weird and very suspicious, they alarmed the area boys and they did jungle justice to the guys by beating them to stupour.
The two (2) suspects confessed on how they operates. They had victims clothing such as school uniforms, Soldier outfits, police outfits hiden under the gutter (drainage channel). All thier victims were dragged to the gutter (drainage channel) at night and taken or killed at late night or early morning.
They operated while disguising as police or soldiers sometimes, they stop people at late night, pretending as tho there were police officers or a soldier while taking their victims.
The Sam Etnan Air force Base Officers took the other two suspects away after the boys in the hood had beaten the 2 suspects to stupour.
